The Growers Forum
Over the past 12–18 months, the UK hydroponics retail market has experienced a noticeable slowdown, with margins becoming increasingly tight.
In our ongoing conversations with over 300 active stores each year, the same challenges consistently emerge: ongoing price pressure, online comparison driving widespread undercutting, reduced footfall, and the reality that higher volumes are no longer compensating for shrinking margins.
As a result, many retailers are finding themselves working harder for diminishing returns.
Rather than continuing these discussions individually, The Growers Forum creates a shared space for the industry to come together.
Hosted as a monthly, 60-minute Google Meet, it brings retailers and distributors into an open, honest conversation about current market conditions and practical ways to improve them.
This is not a sales call, but a focused and constructive trade discussion designed to support the industry as a whole.
Your dedicated space to catch up on meeting summaries, discussion points, & future updates.
