Due Diligence Processes for Slavery and Human Trafficking
As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk, we have in place systems to:
- Identify and assess potential risk areas in our supply chains.
- Reduce the risk of slavery and human trafficking occurring in our supply chains by having a close relationship with our suppliers.
- Monitor potential risk areas in our supply chains.
- Protect any person who alerts us to the possibility of a violation taking place.
Future Strategy
To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains Eden Horticulture Ltd will make changes over the next financial year to create more understanding. As part of this we will:
- Produce and implement a modern slavery and human trafficking policy.
- Contact those businesses within our existing supply chain to seek positive confirmation that they are compliant by gathering information on their current approach to modern slavery.
- Ensure all members of staff are trained to ensure an understanding of modern slavery and human trafficking.
