The 47L Header Tank stores the nutrient solution required for your AutoPot System. When a Smart Valve within your AutoPot setup demands nutrient solution, this header tank delivers it through a 6mm flexi-pipe that connects to the tank's bottom, securely fastened in place by a top-hat grommet. AutoPot Systems rely on gravity for their operation. To ensure a consistent supply of water, the Header Tank should be elevated at least 150mm (6 inches) off the floor and replenished when no more than two-thirds of the nutrient solution has been consumed.

Here's how to effectively utilise the 47L Header Tank:
- Position the AutoPot 47L Header Tank on a stand at least 150mm (6 inches) in height, in close proximity to your AutoPot garden.
- Install the grommet and flexi-pipe into the hole near the tank's base, and run the piping to your AutoPot. Consider fitting a flow control tap in the flexi-pipe relatively close to where it exits the Header Tank for added convenience. This allows you to easily shut off the flow from the Header Tank when performing maintenance on your AutoPot.
- If you're using multiple AutoPots, you can incorporate T-pieces into the flexi-pipe to create junctions for up to 4 AutoPots. It's recommended not to connect more than 4 AutoPots to a single 47L Header Tank, as additional plants may deplete the nutrient solution in the Header Tank too quickly.
- After setting up the system, fill the Header Tank with water and prepare your nutrient solution according to your feeding schedule. Switch on the tap, and your system will commence operation effortlessly.
